The New Paper
January 5, 2016
It has been three years since Singapore Idol Season 2 winner Hady Mirza left the limelight.
In a Berita Harian report yesterday, the 35-year-old revealed his plans to focus on his new business venture selling tempe ikan bilis sambal(spicy fermented soybean and anchovies).
Operating via his Facebook page Tempting Tempe, he has also registered the business under the name Tempting Trading.
The recipe, he said, came from his late paternal grandmother. It was his mother who encouraged him to launch the business idea.
Hady, who got married in 2014, said: "(Tempe ikan bilis pedas) can be eaten with a variety of dishes or as a snack... When hungry, I eat it with bread like a sandwich."
He added that he has tried his hand at learning how to cook the spicy tempe.
He added that he has no plans to resume singing.
