Robert Downey Jr. confirms he'll be in new Spider-Man movie -- and teases Iron Man 4

Spider-Man's appearance in the latest Marvel offering, Captain America: Civil War has been a hot talking point among fans.

During the movie, Robert Downey Jr.'s Iron Man recruits a young Peter Parker onto his team against Captain America's and it's the first time Spider-Man has ever appered in the Marvel Comic Universe.

According to The Lad Bible, this will lead nicely into the Spider-Man: Homecoming movie.

Not much is known except that it will star Tom Holland as Peter Parker, Marisa Tomei and that it will be directed by Jon Watts.

It is now confirmed that Robert Downey Jr. will make an appearance however, it is unknown how strongly he will be involved in the movie.

Downey Jr. is also contracted to star in two more Avenger films: Infinity War parts one and two in 2018 and 2019.

As for an Iron Man 4, he has been quick to dismiss it in the past but may have had a change of heart.

In a recent interview he said: "I feel like I could do one more."
