Conor McGregor has beaten Jose Aldo to become the sole UFC featherweight champion of the world at Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) 194.

McGregor beat Aldo in the first round by knocking him out within 13 seconds.

McGregor came into the fight as bookie and fan favourite, reports The Lad Bible.

The Irishman had been interim UFC champion since July after Aldo withdrew from his last five titles defences.

But after tonight’s result McGregor has become the sole title holder.
