Body of 21-year-old hip-hop star found washed ashore on beach in Malaysia

The body of a hip-hop dance champion was found on a beach in Pantai Cenang, Langkawi, 22 hours after he was reported missing.

According to The Star, Jayden Koi Kian Boon was carried away by strong currents while swimming with two friends.

Rescue personnel found the body of the 21-year-old dancer washed ashore at about 12.45pm on Friday (Aug 12).

Jayden was on holiday with 16 friends and they were scheduled to leave today (Aug 13).

His body has been handed over to police for further action.

Jayden led the dance group Red Lycans, which emerged champion in the national-level Battleground 2016 hip-hop popping dance competition organised by Malaysian network company Astro.
