Avril Lavigne has admitted she would like to become a filmmaker and she is also keen to move to Italy.

The 'Complicated' hitmaker has decided her "next goal in life" is "moviemaking" and she wants to act in "Christmas, horror, comedy" films, but would be quite happy to play a role of any genre.

She said: "My next goal in life is moviemaking! I want to act in a Christmas movie, horror film, comedy, and more. After music, art, acting, and fashion design are my passions."

The 30-year-old singer - who is married to Nickelback's Chad Kroeger - has another dream to move to Italy.

She told US Weekly magazine: "I want to move to Italy. I feel dreamy and happy there. I want to eat, drink wine, and make incredible memories there in my future."

The Canadian-born musician was diagnosed with Lyme disease, caused by tick bites and causes pain in the sufferer's skin and joints and problems with the heart and nervous system, but the punk rock chick won't let that get in the way of her dreams and being positive.

Avril previously stated: "I believe that I will come out of this healthier and stronger than I was before. I've gained a lot of perspective on my life. I'm choosing to look at the positives."
