Saturday night marked the first time that style icon Victoria Beckham personally showcased ready-to-wear pieces from her eponymous fashion label in Singapore.
Set in the pastel blooms and golden glow of a gallery hosting an exhibition of famed rockstar and fashion photographer Annie Leibovitz's works at the ArtScience Museum, around 80 guests got an up-close and personal session with the former pop star.
A select group of top executives, fashion personalities and media were presented with a private fashion show of the label's Spring/Summer and Pre-Autumn/Winter ready-to-wear collection for 2014/15. Beckham has been updating her fans and followers about her Singapore trip on her Twitter.
She jokingly called herself "alien" after tweeting a picture of her with glowing eyes at the Marina Bay Sands presentation.
Before the busy evening ended, the former pop star took control of the DJ console and attempted to spin.
She also tweeted a picture of her posing on the DJ deck, with a caption saying she was attempting to hone her DJ skills, so that she can be like her friend, DJ Samantha Ronson.
The mother of four then tossed on a grey tee and loose slacks, and unwound with a sing-along session with close friend and hairdresser Ken Paves, reported British and local media.
The session was held at one of the Marina Bay Sands suites, according to the hotel's PR. Beckham called her experience at Marina Bay Sands "unique" and said that she looks forward to returning soon.
The Victoria Beckham label was launched in September 2008 to rave reviews, and has celebrity fans such as Kate Winslet, Gwyneth Paltrow and Beyonce.
The 40-year-old fashionista also showcased pieces from her limited edition ICON range, which has not been available in Singapore.
The label also contributed an accessory that will be displayed at The Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands as part of an upcoming silent celebrity charity auction at the Sands for Singapore Festival.
