They dominated the local showbiz industry this year.

So much so that we decided to give these boys a category of their own - Ah Boy Of The Year.

It was a tough fight between the talented Tosh Zhang, smart-mouthed Wang Weiliang and good-looker Joshua Tan, the three actors who made it big after starring in Jack Neo's two-part Ah Boys To Men movies, reports The New Paper.

But 24-year-old Zhang proved that he was the Ah Boy to rule them all when he emerged champion, with an impressive 1,785 votes.

His on-screen army "brothers" Wang received 926 votes while Tan had 410 votes.

It is also the second consecutive year Zhang has won a Flame Award. Last year, he nabbed Breakout Star Of The Year.

"When I heard that I won this year, my first reaction was, 'Huh, really?' I was very surprised and happy because I didn't expect it. I am very thankful to my fans for always supporting me," Zhang told The New Paper.

"But like I said before, I feel that it is already a win for all three of us because TNP came up with a category just for us Ah Boys. It's very special and I feel like we are being recognised for our hard work and achievements this year."
