Actress Fann Wong has confirmed that she is indeed pregnant. In a short post on her Facebook fan page at about 3.45pm, Wong wrote: "Yes, we're having a baby! Can't wait to see our little new bundle of joy!"

Her husband, Malaysian-born actor Christopher Lee, 42, also revealed to Taiwanese media today that Wong is three months pregnant, reported entertainment site, ETtoday.

He said: "We've been waiting for so long; thank you for your concern!" A post by the administrator on Fann Wong's Facebook fan page earlier on Tuesday afternoon showed a photo of the couple along with the text:

"It's confirmed! Congratulations Mr & Mrs Lee" - which seemed to cement recent rumours that the 43-year-old actress is with child.

According to The New Paper, Wong's official Facebook page is managed by Fann herself, and her official fan club, the Fannatic Fan Club (FFC).

The post also indicated that the actress, who celebrated her birthday just last week on Jan 27, has just crossed the first trimester of her pregnancy, reports AsiaOne.

The couple, who have been married for 5 years, tied the knot in 2009. Since then, all eyes had been on Wong's tummy and the anticipation of spotting a baby bump.

The pregnancy rumour reached a fever pitch last week after several cryptic photographs of her birthday celebration posted online suggested that the couple and their closest friends were keeping a big secret.

But her management had replied to the media that the actress was not pregnant and was simply resting at home during the Chinese New Year holiday season.

According to a report in Lianhe Wanbao, fans are upset that Christopher Lee announced the pregnancy in Taiwan instead of Singapore as the couple are supposed to be local artistes.

Fann is expected to deliver this year in August.
