Mexican singer, Patricia Navidad, probably made history when a sanitary towel fell between her legs during a TV appearance.
According to MailOnline, it is believed that the mishap is the first to have happened to any performing artist in the world.
After the incident was broadcast, several men got in contact on her Twitter page to mock her.
But Patricia took the incident in her stride with a series of clever put-downs that left her critics looking ridiculous and saw her hailed as a 'queen.'
In a dig at their lack of manners, the star responded: 'They say that a man who treats a woman like a princess was raised by a queen, those who attack, who raised you?'
After rightly stating that the accident was nothing to be embarrassed of, she went on to say the men hiding behind their keyboards wouldn't be so outspoken if they were looking at her face to face.
She wrote: 'Too bad all the men that are making fun of this weren’t there, because if it is what they say it was I would’ve loved to have smeared it on their face.'
She ended her comeback with a couple of witty one-liners that led with: 'I don't need wings to fly, I have imagination and thanks to God, I have a sense of humor.'
She added: 'I’m not a boxer, I’m a warrior, and I never throw in the towel, unless I don’t need it anymore.'
Patricia has since received thousands of messages of support from fans globally.
