About 8,000 fans cheered on their idols at the Girls' Generation solo concert held at the Singapore Indoor Stadium on Saturday (Oct 12).

According to an article in The New Paper, the K-pop girl band's fans, made up of both male and female, mirrored their stars' attire and wore varying shades of pink.

Thrilling fans with a 27-song setlist, the group topped their performance with a "pink ocean" - a Girls' Generation spin on the Kallang Wave but with pink lightsticks.

Said full-time national serviceman Hutson Tan, 21: "I wished they had solo performances, but I thought the concert was great. I especially enjoyed the encore."

At an earlier press conference, the girls mentioned how they were looking forward to eating some chilli crabs and meeting their diehard fans.
