Malaysian actress Nora Danish, often linked with a son of Datuk Seri Nazri Aziz, has denied rumours that they will be tying the knot, reported Sinar Harian.

Nora, 31, said there are no wedding plans, stressing that she and Nadeem Nazri, the Tourism and Culture Minister’s son, are just close friends.

“Finding a match is good. However, at this point in time, neither of us have found our match. We have not discussed marriage and our focus is on our respective careers and children,” she said.

Nora, a single mother, said if she remarries she wants it to be a simple ceremony and without the usual hantaran (bridal gifts) from the groom’s side.

“I had married before, so I don’t need such gifts. A simple akad nikah ceremony (solemnisation of marriage) would do,” she said.

Nora, however, said she dreams of having a simple reception overseas, such as in Phuket or Bali, with close friends and family.
