Both milestones were reached in the shortest amount of time in YouTube history.The news is raising hopes that Psy may bounce back in the Billboard Hot 100 this week. Experts have given rosy projections about Psy, who has started a major U.S. promotional campaign and made appearances on television shows there. The U.S. chart will announce its newest weekly rankings today. Psy, who previously entered the chart in fifth place early this month, slipped to 26th place the following week. The music video for “Gangnam Style,‘ which made Psy a world star, has garnered more than 1.5 billion views on YouTube, maintaining its status as the most-viewed video on the Web site.
