Shoppers who thought visiting Jurong Point on Saturday morning would be a nice way to start the weekend got a whole lot more than they bargained for.

Five members of popular variety game show Running Man were at the mall for an autograph session, reports The Straits Times.

Autographs were available for those with Category 1 tickets to the Watsons Race Start! in Singapore Fan Meeting to be held on Sat, Oct 19, 2013, in the evening.

Even without tickets, fans of all ages came to try to catch a glimpse of the cast. From excited teens to adorable kids dragging along curious parents, every possible vantage point was filled with fans.

The horde at Jurong Point mirrored those seen when the members visited Thailand, Hong Kong and Shanghai. By 10am, the entrances were swarming with people.

Every hint or mention of Running Man garnered screams and cheers. One of the main exits was so packed, security had to move people so that the walkway wouldn't be a fire hazard.

Even the window balcony of Starbucks, which provided a view of the stage, was packed with people.

When the Running Man members finally appeared, the crowds surged with shouts and cheers for each celebrity.

Actress Song Ji Hyo, who joins the Running Man Fan Meeting Asia Tour 2013 for the first time, got the loudest screams.

As the members settled down in their seats for the autograph session, the MC led the crowd in a cheer for the show.

"Everyone say 'I Love Running Man!'" Those residents of Jurong West who expect a quiet Saturday lunch must have been so confused.
