Fan Bingbing named 2013's China's Top Celebrity by Forbes

American business magazine Forbes on Tuesday released its annual list of China’s top 100 celebrities on its Chinese-language website. Actress Fan Bingbing tops the list, with an estimated annual income of 110 million RMB, reports Sina.Singer and actor Jay Chou comes in second, with Andy Lau ranking the third. The newcomer, Nobel Prize winner Mo Yan is listed on the 16th slot. Jacky Chan comes in 4th, followed by Zhang Ziyi, Eason Chan, Yang Mi, Huang Xiaoming, Jolin Tsai and Lin Chi-ling.Most of those who made the list are actors and singers. Besides, there are also 4 athletes and 2 writers. Runner-up of the Australian Open Li Na ranks 11th, Olympic swimming champion Sun Yang (31), Badminton champion Lin Dan (42), and Liu Xiang (44) are also on the list.The list covers celebrities in the mainland, Taiwan, Hong Kong and Macau, and the criteria includes their media exposure rate, annual income, etc.The total income of all these celebrities reaches 3.82 billion RMB, and the average income is 3.823 million RMB, down 11.4% from last year. Meanwhile, the annual income threshold was raised to 1.53 million this year, up 41.7%.
