A Brazilian model has dumped Spainish football star Diego Costa after he tried to bed her sister, British daily The Sun reported.

Michele Zuanne was devastated when she found out the new Chelsea striker had made advances on her sister Naiana.

Zuanne said she met Costa in early 2010 at a party at the home of another Spanish player, Jose Antonio Reyes. The pair soon became "friends with benefits", Spanish magazine Interviu reported.

She also learned later that Costa had begged one of her pals for sex, reported The Sun.

The 28-year-old clothing store owner and her trainee air hostess sister Naiana, 26, told The Sun how the 25-year-old hot-shot tried to two-time the pair.

Said Zuanne: "I dumped him on the spot. I couldn't believe he was so naive to think I wouldn't find out."

Brazil-born Costa, who now plays for Spain after switching nationality, signed for Jose Mourinho's side in June from La Liga champions Atletico Madrid.

Role model Costa appears to be trying to mend his ways by being a role model to children in Brazil, sponsoring a football school in his hometown of Lagarto.

Zuanne said the chemistry between them "sparked immediately".

"He has a typical Brazilian sense of humour - a bit naughty and playful. And he was very sexy. He made me laugh and was great company. He seemed a bit lonely so it wasn't too difficult to get close. He's a good dancer and turned me on with his sensual moves," she said.

As their relationship grew, Costa lavished her with gifts of designer shoes, bags, clothes and jewellery.

The relationship began to unravel in October 2010, when Costa tried to chat up Michele's younger sister.

Miss Naiana Zuanne said: "Diego started coming on strong to me while my sister was on holiday in Brazil for a month. The first time was at a Brazilian restaurant in Madrid. I danced with him and he began to compliment me on how sexy I looked.

"He whispered in my ear, 'You're so beautiful and I want you in my bed. Let's get out of here and go back to my place'. I was really offended."

She called her sister to tell her about Costa's approach. But before confronting him with the allegations, Zuanne confided in a childhood friend about her heartbreak.

Her friend said Costa had also tried to have sex with her. When she confronted him, he denied trying to seduce her sister. But Zuanne ditched him.

She said: "He tried calling me afterwards but I refused to take his calls and I haven't spoken to him since."
