It took just 2 1/2 hours on Tuesday to sell all 17,000 tickets to Taiwanese singer Jay Chou's concert here over two nights in June.
The organiser also announced that a third night will be added to Chou's stop here, on June 6, preceding the earlier scheduled dates on June 7 and 8, reported The Straits Times Online.
The Sistic website was overwhelmed by the amount of traffic as fans flocked to book tickets on Tuesday morning (Feb 19).
Ticket sales for the newly announced date will begin next Tuesday at 10am for M1 customers and OCBC cardmembers.
Tickets are priced at $108, $148, $178, $208 and $238.
Chou, 34, will perform at the Singapore Indoor Stadium as part of his Opus Jay 2013 World Tour.
Priority sales began yesterday at 10am, also only for M1 customers and OCBC cardmembers.
But all tickets were sold.
A spokesman from concert organiser Multimedia Entertainment says: "M1 customers and OCBC cardmembers cover quite a big ground, and have a large base.
Anyone with an M1 phone, tablet or latest bill can buy tickets.
Those who do not have an OCBC card got their friends or family members to buy for them."
