Tavia Yeung refuses to renew TVB contract, opening new company with Moses Chan

Following TVB's desperate search for new artistes after many older ones left for job offers in Mainland China, the station's dramas have been headlined by Miss Hong Kong winners.

With newcomers taking over TVB, 36-year-old Tavia Yeung is rumoured to be the next actress leaving the station. After the departure of Myolie Wu and Kate Tsui, Linda Chung and Tavia Yeung are the only remaining ladies from the Four Fadans.

Tavia is supposedly upset about the continuous promotion of newer actresses such as Grace Chan.

According to Jaynestars, it is also speculated that Tavia has teamed up with Moses Chan with an idea of opening their own entertainment company in China.

TVB managers have started negotiations with Tavia, whose contract ends in April 2016. Tavia showed no indication of renewing her contract and was also noticeably absent from the 2015 TVB Anniversary Gala.

She has not filmed another series ever since she filmed The Last Imperial Physician with Roger Kwok in July and was said to be 'frozen' by TVB due to her uncertain contract.

Tavia was seen shopping for athletic clothing at a local mall, considering how she does not have any current filming obligations.

Although she had three series aired this year, Eye in the Sky, Wudang Rules and Momentary Lapse of Reason, Tavia has evidently given up on the TV Queen race.
