A passenger caused quite a commotion on a Lion Air flight recently by making an inappropriate bomb joke while trying to flirt with a flight attendant.

The incident occurred in Thailand, and the passenger Pichit Boondaeng, 23, now faces up to five years jail time and a 200,000 baht fine for a criminal charge of instigating panic because of his comment.

Thai police said Pichit was “teasing” the flight attendant during boarding by repeatedly telling her to be careful with his bag because there was a bomb inside.

The flight attendant immediately reported the man’s comments to the pilot who evacuated the flight, reports The Lad Bible.

Nitinai Sirismatthakarn, President of Airports of Thailand Public Co. Ltd, said Lion Air is prepared to sue Pichit for a million baht in damages. The pilot is also willing to file a lawsuit against the passenger.

The airline company rescheduled the flight for the next day. Pichit has since said he’s never going to talk to women ever again.
