Overweight man shamed online and turned into meme gets back at haters by transforming himself

26-year-old Paul Moore did not expect a shirtless photo of him at a music festival to change his life.

A photo of the overweight Ireland native going topless in March 2014 at the Future Music Festival in Australia was turned into a meme and shared online, reports Acid Cow.

He was “devastated” when the photo of him on his friend’s shoulders appeared in a magazine with the caption: “Make extra beer money by renting yourself as a human forklift for less mobile punters.”

However that was not the worst part. The image was then shared over 30,000 times online and generated over 10,00 comments, most of which were mean.

Paul weighed about 127kg (20 stone) at that time. He has since lost 44kg (7 stone), by not going on boozy nights out and swapping fast food by going to the gym three times a week.

He also joined Slimming World to help him get closer to his goal weight of 76kg (12 stone).

Check out his transformation in the gallery below.
