Though new on the scene, 18-year-old DJ Shannon Faith is already making waves for her good looks. But that's not all she wants to be known for.
Stomper Raymond wanted to bring attention to the fresh-faced table spinner:
"Is she the next Jade Rasif? DJ Shannon Faith was spotted spinning at F.club Singapore on Wednesday, 2 March 2016. Shannon, who is currently a student in Kaplan, was signed and groomed under Altra Management when she was 17."
In an interview with Biggest Baddest Parties, the stunner said that the toughest part about being a female DJ is being called "fake".
She said: "I guess if a female DJ is good looking, they’ll call her out stating that she’s a “fake” DJ that plays mixtape.
"This music industry, it’s kind of sexist at this point of time but I want to change that. You don’t see reports or articles mentioning that male DJ’s are “fake”.
"With that being said, there’s a way to identify if one has been playing mixtape or not. Just simply stand behind the console and peek at the DJ’s laptop. They should be on Serato. And if you can’t see the BPM, then BINGO! They’re playing a mixtape."
Her favourite genre of music is electro house because of the energy and her favourite song of the moment is Justin Bieber's Sorry.
She's still learning as much as she can to be a good DJ and we have a feeling she's only just getting started.
