After Myolie Wu left TVB, many wondered about the next step in her career.

Earlier reports claimed that Myolie would be joining Stephen Shiu Jr.’s company, although she always dodged responding directly to the rumors.

GME announced today that they will be signing a popular female artiste.

To preserve an air of mystery, GME did not reveal the identity of the female artiste, but many speculated it to be Myolie, reports Jayne Stars.

While other companies offered lucrative deals, Myolie was eventually swayed by Stephen, who promised to create roles and films specifically tailored for her.

Allegedly signing a four-year contract for $35 million HKD, Myolie will be joining Chilam Cheung and Chrissie Chau under Stephen’s management agency.

It is understood that Myolie will wrap up her remaining work and focus on filming movies after joining GME.

Since leaving TVB, Myolie partnered with fashion designer Kev Yiu to open up a bridal studio business.

Personally promoting the brand, Myolie’s business is already picking up briskly after its summer opening.

Rumored to also be planning her wedding at the same time, Myolie’s schedule is fully packed through the end of the year.
