Taylor Swift is astonished that her godson Leo Thames Newman - the youngest son of Jaime King and her spouse Kyle Newman - is six months old already.

The 'Blank Space' hitmaker enjoyed spending a day with little Leo Thames - the youngest son of her friend Jaime King and her husband Kyle Newman - and can't believe how quickly time is passing by.

Alongside a picture of herself with the baby chewing her finger, she wrote on Instagram: "Pretty wild that 6 months ago, LT wasn't even born yet and now he chews on my fingers.(sic)"

Alongside another picture of herself, Leo Thames and Jaime, she wrote: "LT is 6 months old today!!(sic)"

Meanwhile, Jaime was delighted to witness the bond between her son and his godmother.

Sharing another picture of herself, her son and Taylor, she wrote: "This one goes in the baby book. Godmother love #LeoThames and @taylorswift (sic)"

And she also shared another image of the 'Shake It Off' singer holding the little boy as the pair looked into one another's eyes.

She captioned the picture: "What love looks like... LT and TS (sic)"

The 36-year-old actress - who also has two-year-old son James Knight with Kyle - previously admitted she thought her 26-year-old pal would be the "ideal godmother" before she even got pregnant again.

She previously said: "I always thought if I were to have another child that she would be the ideal godmother because the way she not only treats me but the way she treats other human beings.

"She's so loving and so giving and so generous and she does everything from her heart and she's incredibly brave and authentic. It's a very rare thing to come across."
