More than 150 people were killed in a chain of terror attacks in Paris, France on Friday, Nov 13.

Just a few hours before the attacks, Hong Kong celebrity couple Leanne Li and Wong Cho Lam had posted photos of their vacation there, in front of the Eiffel tower.

Fans got worried sick after they were seemingly uncontactable after posting the selfies. Many feared the worst that they were in danger of the terrorist attacks.

According to Asian E-News Portal, the couple are now doing fine and have reported their safety.

Wong Cho Lam has reassured he is safe: "Everyone, please rest assured that Wong Cho Lam and Leanne Li are returning home!

"I did not expect the beautiful Paris will happen like this, it is really sad! I hope everything will calm down soon. Pray for the victims, the dead rest in peace!"

He clarified that he was actually working in Mainland China.

He wrote on Weibo: "Last night before Leanne went to sleep, she uploaded photos we also took in front of the Eiffel Tower.

"We have never thought just a few hours later, there was a terrorist attack. Reporters could not contact us is because early this morning we took an early flight to work.

"Do not worry, it's a misunderstanding. Before there was a lot of good memories, but today I see a lot of sad news.

"I do not want to see the tragedy happen, pray that the dead rest in peace, the injured get better."
