It has only been about 2 months since she gave birth to "Little Chou Chou", but according to Jayne Stars, Hannah Quinlivan's manager has confirmed the model has already returned to her normal weight.

She was recently spotted at Shanghai airport in a mini-skirt, looking like she had already regained her pre-pregnancy figure.

Quinlivan had received criticisms that she has been more concerned with maintaining her figure rather than the health of her baby during pregnancy.

Perhaps reacting to the negative responses, Quinlivan posted on Facebook on Sept 10, advocating that mums and mothers-to-be should not care about their figures but "focus on enjoying their pregnancy".

Despite criticisms that she was more concerned with maintaining her slim figure than the health of her baby, Hannah explained that she had a difficult pregnancy. In addition to losing her appetite, Hannah also suffered from acute sinusitis and vomiting.

"Before my pregnancy, I had a fleshy body and was constantly called fat. When I fell pregnant, I thought I could finally and legitimately put on some weight. However, I lost my appetite due to the pregnancy, so I didn't eat much. During the second trimester I was diagnosed with acute sinusitis and constantly threw up, which is why I didn't gain much weight.

"Actually, under normal circumstances, I feel that one should enjoy their pregnancy and be a happy mom. Don't deliberately maintain your figure, because the goal of pregnant women is not about being skinny or beautiful, but to keep the baby inside you healthy and happy."

Though of mixed ancestry, Quinlivan obliged to the traditional East Asian custom of postpartum confinement, reported Jayne Stars, and she was home-bound for 30 days. Having successfully regained her pre-pregnancy body, Hannah shared some tips on post-pregnancy weight loss.

"My postpartum confinement is normal. It's not like what the media portrayed, because postpartum confinement is about being obedient and resting in your room, drinking lots of soup and water!"

Taiwanese media had previously reported that her doting husband Jay Chou had booked the entire 6th floor of a 'confinement hotel' for his wife.

She added: "Breastfeeding also helps with losing weight! Besides, pregnant women are beautiful no matter what! So every mother who has just given birth or to those preparing to give birth, let's work hard together!"
