A female K-pop group was stopped at an airport in America after authorities mistook them for prostitutes.
According to AsianTown, the group 'Oh My Girl' was travelling to America for an album cover shoot when they were stopped at Los Angeles International Airport.
The members aged between 16 and 21 were detained for 15 hours as customs officials searched through their props and costumes.
The authorities were concerned with the relationship between the large quantities of clothing as well as the members' ages.
Read a statement:
"Probably because of their young age, they seem to have mistaken them as sex workers."
The band's agency will be seeking legal advice to ascertain if the detention was lawful.
