The New Paper
Sep 6, 2016
Local actor Chew Chor Meng and his wife Deon Tan recently unveiled their second d' Good Cafe outlet on Sept 1 at basement one of Ngee Ann City.
According to Shin Min Daily News, the couple previously opened a shoe store, fish head beehoon and hotpot store, all of which ended up failing.
But the 47-year-old veteran did not give up on his entrepreneurial dreams, and spent a six-figure sum on d' Good Cafe's Holland Village and Ngee Ann City outlets.
Chew hopes that he can use the cafe as a platform to convey messages of love and kindness, and at the same time give back to society.
A red British postbox is also placed outside the new branch for customers who are upset to pen down their feelings.
