TVB artiste married his long-time girlfriend in Canada to celebrate their 16th dating anniversary.
According to Asianpopnews.com, Pierre said that since his girlfriend is not in the entertainment industry and prefers to keep a low-profile, he rarely talked about their relationship to the media:
"My wife grew up overseas. She doesn't like me to talk about our relationship, so I seldom talk about it."
Inevitably, he was asked about babies to which he replied:
"My family does not pressurize me. My mum said there is no need to have a baby as it's too tiring, but I am fine with anything."
After winning Most Improved Actor and My Favourite Male Supporting Character at the 2010 TVB Anniversary Awards, Pierre's acting career did not take off as expected.
The 39-year-old admitted that he once thought of switching careers and disclosed that he had set up an advertising company with his wife.
"After winning the awards, I had some expectations, but I slowly got used to the reality. If the audience don't like you, there is no use even if you kneel down! So, I do my best, and I will work till one day, I don't have a job. My wife supported me switching career. I once threw temper at myself when I had nothing to do. Luckily, my wife is there to support me."
