Stunt woman Olivia Jackson's stunt work was most recently featured in Star Wars: The Force Awakens, but after suffering a horrific accident on the set of Resident Evil 6, she may have to have her arm amputated.

According to Moviepilot, the 34-year-old was shooting a high-speed motorcycle chase in South Africa when she crashed into a metal camera arm.

She suffered from serious external and internal injuries and had to be put in an induced coma.

Jackson was doubling for Milla Jovovich who said it was a "miracle" that Jackson had even survived and that the cast and crew were "devastated".

After being brought out of a coma, Jackson has revealed that she will have to get her arm amputated if she cannot find a specialist to save it.

She said: "My left arm is paralyzed and is going to have to be amputated. My facial scarring is horrible and I wish I had my old face. But I’m truly grateful to be alive.”
