Artiste Ron Ng attended Miss World Peace Pageant as a judge in Hong Kong and expressed he had been filming series in Mainland China and was not used to returning to Hong Kong.
According to Asian E-News Portal, he said: "Not used to when seeing Hong Kong car plate number and it is weird.
"Food is okay for me as we eat lunch boxes during filming and return home after working.
"(Staying in Mainland for long term?) Nope and I wish to split my investments. Mainland China, Hong Kong and Malaysia are big markets."
Ron disclosed his contract with TVB had ended in July and he was a free person.
He did not have time to discuss the renewal with the company but emphasised TVB was his priority choice:
"I have been in Mainland all the time and do not have ample time for discussion.
"(Feel many male artistes left TVB?) See many people when switching on television.
"(Affect your decision when seeing many artistes from the same batch leave?) Nope. It depends on my own decision and the opportunity given by the company.
"(Salary is the main factor?) Salary is one of the factors but developments is more important."
Ron added his last series with TVB was Lord of Shanghai and will try his best to promote the series.
His fellow TVB artistes, Myolie Wu and Kate Tsui, made headlines previously when their contracts ended and chose not to renew it.
