The former-TVB actor's ripped body that he sported in his latest music video for "Heart Attack" came at a hefty price.
At a press conference on the day before (Jan 27), Raymond spoke about his concert preparation and some sacrifices he has made to pursue an ideal physique.
The star especially hired Nick Cheung's personal trainer, who trained the latter when he filmed boxing film, Unbeatable.
The first three days of training were said to have pushed Raymond so hard that he even puked in the shower, reports Jayne Stars.
He later revealed that more than the grueling training, it was watching his diet that was hardest for the actor who is a foodie at heart.
When asked how big his muscles were, Raymond jokingly invited reporters to measure his arms on the spot, but later mentioned that he places more emphasis on the shape of his muscles than the size.
"I’m just trying my best. I haven’t worked out so intensely in over ten years, so I’m not sure how my body will turn out this time. But training up the muscles isn’t hard. The hard part is losing my fat.", said the star.
To watch his diet, Raymond has apparently gone great lengths like restricting himself to food that is steamed.
He even asked his girlfriend, Karena Ng to not share her food with him when they dine together.
Since leaving TVB after his 16-year stint, the actor has been focusing on his music career. His upcoming concert, Heart Attack LF live in HK, is set to take place on Apr 29 and May 1.
