Psy takes internet by storm with new music video that's even better than Gangnam Style

Psy has released a new song entitled “DADDY” featuring CL of 2NE1 with a music video that closely resembles 2012 hit “Gangnam Style” off his newest album called “Chiljip PSY-Da”, Tech Insider reports.

The hilariously entertaining video features Psy as a child, a grandpa and himself dancing enthusiastically with a variety of back up dancers.

Korean singer CL can also be seen in the video as well as actress Ha Ji-Won, who portrays the role of a pretty school teacher.

The song is written together with American rapper Will.I.Am and it is actually a remix of Will.I.Am’s famous song “I Got It From My Mama”.

When asked about what he felt towards his latest album, Psy said:

“I kept thinking, ‘This won’t do as well as Gangnam Style’,or if I changed it, ‘Overseas fans wouldn’t understand this.’

“With every line I wrote, there were voices fighting in my head, and it took a while to get them all sorted out.”

It is clear that after experiencing such a huge success with Gangnam Style, Psy was clearly under pressure to deliver.

He certainly did not fail to do so with “DADDY” though, as the video has already gathered more than 18.2 million views on YouTube, despite the fact that it was only uploaded this Monday (Nov 30).

Whether it could be even more successful than Gangnam Style, only time will tell.
