As if she couldn't feel guilty enough for 'taking' the crown from fellow contestant Miss Colombia, Miss Philippines was also snubbed by the other beauty queens.
Steve Harvey, the host of the Miss Universe pageant on Sunday misread his cue card and announced Miss Colombia the winner of the contest instead of Miss Philippines.
After the announcement, Miss Colombia Ariadna Gutierrez already began waving, smiling and blowing kisses at the crowed when Harvey awkwardly retracted his statement to remove the crown from her and place it on Pia Alonzo Wurtzbach instead.
He apologised for his screw-up, and Miss Philippines looked extremely stunned, but that did not seem to stop any hostility from the other contestants.
A video posted by Missosology supposedly "not seen on TV" shows the other beauty queens consoling and crowding around Miss Colombia, who was crying, and ignoring Miss Philippines.
Ms Wurtzbach, who was trying to join in, was told to "step back" by one of the girls. Miss Montenegro, dressed in green, was seen shaking her head and walking away.
The group then started chanting "Colombia, Colombia" after Ms Wurtzbach had departed.
Missosology also posted another viral clip of an interview with Miss Germany Sarah-Lorraine Riek, who claimed that none of her fellow beauty queens was rooting for Ms Wurtzbach.
"I'm not happy with the results," she added.
Commenters on Facebook shot at the other beauty queens, saying that it was not Ms Wurtzbach's fault at all that the crown was taken from Ms Gutierrez, and that they were being rude to her.
Facebook user Richmon John Prats: "This is plain wrong. It is not Miss Philippines' fault that the wrong winner was announced. Get a life people! You blaming it on a girl who humbly accepted the first announcement of being 1st runner up? Wow. She was even shocked!"
Others also felt that it was unfair to make Miss Philippines the 'bad guy', and the incident took the moment and joy of winning away from her.
