Jackie Chan and three other Asian actors hit the top 10 list for Forbes's ranking of The World's Highest-Paid Actors for the first time.
This is also the first time Forbes have included actors from outside the US movie industry.
International star Jackie Chan is the richest Asian actor and second richest on the Forbes list with a pay of US$50 million (S$68.94 million).
The versatile actor of who executes his own dangerous stunts in action movies such as Rush Hour, Dragon Blade (and let's face it, almost every film he has starred in), has found success in both East and West productions.
Chan first entered Hong Kong's entertainment industry at five years old.
At the start of his career, Chan was a stuntman in Bruce Lee's films and the experience gave him the edge to brand himself as a comedic kung-fu artiste.
Chan also co-owns film production and distribution companies such as JCE Movies Limited, JC Group China, Jackie & Wille Productions and Jackie & JJ Productions.
Amitabh Bachchan, who is the second richest Asian actor and seventh on the Forbes list, commands a pay of US$33.5 million.
The Bollywood leading man has starred in more than 180 movies in his 50-year-long career, reports AsiaOne.

Coming in next is Bollywood bad boy Salman Khan. Khan has starred in about 80 films since his 1989 breakout role in "Maine Pyar Kiya".
According to Business of Cinema, Khan is on a "record breaking spree", with his latest film Bajrangi Bhaijaan crossing the 250 million-rupee mark (S$5.4 million) at the box office.
