Eliza Sam did not get to spend Valentine's Day with her boyfriend but she got a 'substitute' instead.
According to Asian E-News Portal, Sam attended a Valentine's Day event where she was given a kiss and flowers by a 6-year-old Eurasian boy.
When the host asked about the criteria to become her dream lover, she replied inner and outer qualities were important. She also looked forward to travelling to other countries with snow as much as she did getting married.
Eliza said of her boyfriend about Valentine's Day: "He is not in Hong Kong now and we will see each other next month and have a belated celebration."
On the stage, she asked the volunteer about the ways to maintain a relationship and when asked if she was asking for herself, Eliza replied maintaining long distance relationship was not easy.
When asked if it was the first Valentine's Day they spent together, Eliza said yes.
Asked if she missed her boyfriend, she said she was "okay" that they were "busy".
"Dating is not the most important," she added.
She added she handmade a gift for him but rejected to reveal what it was.
She disclosed her boyfriend sent her an extra large size of potato chips from Canada. Eliza felt the important is the sincerity of the present and not what it was.
