Australian golfer Jason Day's wife, Ellie Day, was just in the audience watching a basketball game when professional player Lebron James crashed into her so hard she was sent to the hospital.
According to AsianTown, she was sitting courtside at Quicken Loans Arena for the Cleveland Cavaliers' home match against Oklahoma City Thunder.
James, who stands at an impressive 6ft 8in, was chasing a loose ball when he fell out of bounds, knocked Mrs Day's chair over and crushed the mother-of-two on Thursday night.
He took to his Twitter account after the game to apologise for the collision, writing: 'Ellie Day I hope you're doing okay! My apologies! Hope u guys come back to another game soon. Love LJ!'
Mrs Day was treated and released from hospital early Friday morning, a MetroHealth Medical Center spokesman confirmed to the US ABC.
