Taiwanese actress Ariel Lin, who got married last year, admitted on a talkshow recently that she has been trying for a baby for the past year.
According to Chinese news site Epoch Times, the 33-year-old actress appeared on a Chinese talkshow on Nov 26, where she candidly answered questions from fans about life after marriage.
Lin, who married Taiwanese-American businessman Charles Lin on Christmas eve last year, admitted she's deathly afraid of becoming "boring".
She feels that one must always enrich oneself and learn new things, so that "you'll become a more interesting person" and consequently, "your partner won't feel bored".
When asked if she's planning to have kids soon, Lin revealed they have been trying for a year, "but I don't know when the heavens will decide to grant us a baby".
The sweet-faced actress also shared the most romantic thing her husband has done for her.
Lin described how she was watching TV at their home in the US when she smelled a familiar aroma of sesame oil and a sizzling sound coming from the kitchen. Her husband then brought out a huge plate of sesame chicken, which he had specially prepared for her.
