Jackie Chan is terrified of needles.
The 'Chinese Zodiac' actor might be best known for his action and martial arts roles on the big screen, but the blockbuster star has revealed "the sight of" a syringe is enough to make him pass out - but he's much tougher when it comes to injuries on set.
He told The Times magazine: "Needles will always make me feel faint. Just the sight of one. If I break my finger, I just put it back in and keep filming.
"For 'Rumble in the Bronx' I broke my ankle in the morning and was filming again by the afternoon ... I can fight two people at once. But if three or four people attack me, I'll just run away."
Jackie also admitted he has never strived to be "the best", but simply preferred to set himself apart from the rest and make his own style stand out above the rest as something "unique".
He explained: "I'd rather be unique than be the best. Trying to be the greatest action star in the world is too tough.
"There have been so many good people. Stallone. Schwarzenegger. They're number ones. I'm not a number one, but I am unique. When I'd see famous actors do one style of fighting, I'd make sure to do another.
"Bruce Lee would kick high, so I would kick low. He was a superhero on screen, but I just wanted to by myself, to be able to laugh and have fun."
