Wu Chun is now a well-established actor, but fans still remember him as a member of Taiwanese boy band Fahrenheit, which he left officially in June 2011.

At that time, Wu Chun’s representative announced that he was leaving the group because he no longer aspired to be a singer and hoped to focus on his acting career. He also mentioned that he wanted to spend more time with his family. It was still not known that he was already married to his longtime girlfriend, Lin Li Ying.

However, on a recent talk show hosted by former band mate Calvin Chen, Wu Chun revealed that the real reason for leaving Fahrenheit was because of his daughter, Nei Nei, reports Sina.com via Jayne Stars.

“It was because I had my daughter Nei Nei, so it was impossible for me to continue activities with [the band],” he said, adding that he and his Fahrenheit brothers are still close and that he would love to work with them again in the future.

Wu Chun showed much love and enthusiasm for Nei Nei on the show, saying that she is a joy to take care of. He also mentioned that she can be stubborn sometimes, but her persistent personality is quite endearing.

He reportedly said, “She would want to get a piece of candy on top of a cupboard, but she couldn’t reach it. She also wouldn’t let me help her. But it would be okay if I picked her up so she could reach it herself.”
