Kristen Stewart received a wolf for her birthday.
The former 'Twilight' actress was reportedly "delighted" to receive the dangerous canine from her mother Jules when she turned 24 on April 9, and "sees nothing wrong" with keeping them as pets even though they are native to the wilderness.
A source told the Daily Star: "Kristen and her mum adore wolves and see nothing wrong with keeping them as domesticated pets. Jules secured the rescue wolf last month, then brought him along to Kristen's Malibu beach house as a surprise on her birthday. She was delighted, and was soon even sharing cakes with him."
The unusual pet is likely to remind fans of Kristen's friendship with werewolf Jacob played by Taylor Lautner throughout the popular 'Twilight' series.
However not everybody is a fan of the new addition to Kristen's household - which also includes a dog named Bailey she bought with Robert Pattinson two years ago - as it's claimed her neighbours are furious at the prospect of keeping a wild animal in the area.
A source added: "Jules has always had run-ins with her neighbours over the issue in the past, but Kristen has always longed for one of her own."
