A woman rumoured to be rap mogul Jay-Z’s mistress has released a provocative song for his wife Beyoncé Knowles called “Sorry Mrs Carter”.

Speculation has swirled for months that the music power couple’s marriage is under serious strain, reports Malaysia Chronicle.

The infamous violent beat-down Jay-Z received from sister-in-law Solange in an elevator in New York in May was reportedly sparked by his infidelity.

And now a struggling female rapper named Liv has added fuel to the fire with a cringe-worthy tune directed at Beyonce.

The woman insists she did not have sex with Jay-Z, but says the pair shared a “connection” and hints that he made a pass at her.

Don’t be fooled by the title. While this song is billed as an apology, it’s actually a dig at Beyonce.

Pointed lyrics lay the boot in and even sample lines from Beyonce and Jay-Z’s own songs.

The barbs include: “You know what I was gonna respect you but since you crossed over into my lane it’s time to check you.

“The man? He likes model chicks. He likes all naturally flawless model chicks, like me. “Girls can’t run the world fightin’ over men, all my single ladies better keep in mind when them those tables turn you gon’ be the wife.

“Why don’t you tell these girls how to be wives? Why don’t tell these girls how to act around yo’ husband?”

Liv also put together a video clip for the song, which shows her applying lip gloss, looking at herself in a mirror and pulling out some questionable dance moves.

In the aftermath of the song’s release, Liv took to social media to hit back at those who questioned her motives.

She also shared messages of support from her followers and posted a risque photo of herself dressed in a negligee.
