28-year-old Chua Pei Ling traded her breasts for peace of mind, after being diagnosed with a rare genetic disorder that gave her an 80% chance of contracting breast cancer.According to a report in The New Paper, a genetic test conducted three years ago revealed she had the genetic disorder, Li-Fraumeni syndrome, which mutates a gene responsible for suppressing tumours in the body.Doctors told her she had more than 80 per cent chance of getting breast cancer.Miss Chua, whose mother and aunt had died from breast cancer, decided to undergo a preventive double mastectomy.Does she feel any less of a woman?
