Cameroon and their captain, Samuel Eto'o, may have left the World Cup after three straight losses but the former Chelsea player made a mark on a young fan.
According to ESPN FC, a 10-year-old named Pedro had camped outside the Cameroon team hotel and had even been given a signed jersey by Eto'o.
As Eto'o left the hotel to head to the airport, Pedro called him over for a tearful, emotional hug, which you can see in the video above.
It's a timely reminder after Luis Suarez's biting antics that these footballers are idolised by children around the world.
