Taiwanese singer-actress Vivian Hsu has tied the knot with her S'pore-based businessman beau, Sean Lee.
According to a Nownews report via Asianpopnews, the couple registered their marriage in Singapore at 11am on Wednesday (Feb 5).
An excited Hsu reportedly shared the good news with Simon Yam, who was also in Singapore filming a commercial.
When quizzed about the development, Yam said: "Congratulations to her. I hope that all the fans will congratulate her too.
He added that the couple merely registered their wedding here, and that the actual banquet reception has not been held.
However, he clammed up when asked about the actual date of her wedding banquet.
"It's not convenient for me to talk about it," he said.
The couple are said to be looking to hold their wedding banquet in June later this year.
Last month, Hsu and Lee, who's the chief executive of the Marco Polo Marine logistics group, held a low-key engagement ceremony in Taipei that was attended only by the immediate families of the couple.
At the engagement ceremony, Sean delivered an emotional speech.
"I am grateful that God has given me such a good wife," he said.
Vivian was moved to tears after hearing his love declaration, and said: "I'm very sweet, happy and blessed. Thank you God for bestowing to me such a good marriage."
After her marriage, Vivian will move to Singapore to live with her husband, but has promised not to retire from show business.
She said: "After struggling for so long, I hope to spend more time with my family and husband.
"However, if there are any good roles, I will continue filming."
