Vietnam-born heartthrob may star in Jack Neo's new movie

Vietnam-born Gary Tran Ngoc Long is just 17, but the heart-throb seems destined for the limelight.According to an article in The New Paper, the Whitley Secondary School student might just get a taste of fame if director Jack New picks him for his new movie, The Lion Men. The popular lad reportedly had girls setting up a fan page just for him on a recent school trip to Indonesia, and girls leaving presents on his table on Valentine's Day.Gary, whose father is Singaporean, moved here when he was eight because his dad missed his Singaporean relatives.Gary has a black belt in taekwondo and can dance and play the piano as well.He also used to play for the Under-16 team at Home United and admitted that his former childhood ambition was to be a football player.“I used to have girlfriends, the puppy love kind, but now I’m not attached.“I feel happy when I receive this kind of attention from girls."Neo is expected to meet Gary and other hopefuls auditioning for parts in the film by the end of the week.
