The entertainment industry of Hong Kong was saddened that TVB veteran martial arts actor Ip Chi Wah (葉志華) passed away at the age of 44 two days ago.

This was due to the relapse of lung cancer.

Actors who have worked with Ip Chi Wah before such as Fala Chen (陳法拉), Evergreen Mak (麥長青), Bernice Liu (廖碧兒), and Johnson Lee (李思捷) all paid their tributes on Weibo.

Fala Chen wrote on her Weibo: "This early fall is very cool, very sad. A martial arts brother fought his last battle on his sickbed against this evil disease tonight.

"In the past I've often worked with him, he always has a smiling face. He would always use his body to catch me and protect me, fearing the actors would get injured and also never became annoyed even when he had to repeatedly teach the actors their moves. A very positive person......"

She also said that fate is very cruel, and that she is very sad.

Evergreen uploaded Ip Chi Wah's photo and also wrote:

"Friend! Have a safe journey! Thank you for your guidance throughout the years!"
