Charmaine Sheh may have left TVB, but her presence in mainland China continues to grow.

Charmaine maintains a tight schedule with activities lined up for the rest of the year, and would only be free to film for TVB in 2014, reports Ming Pao Weekly via

Three major companies have already sent offers to Charmaine since her contract with her first entertainment company expired in March.

While Charmaine still has not decided on which company to work with, TVB is trying to get Charmaine to sign with them again.

TVB China, the joint venture between TVB, China Media Capital (CMC), and Shanghai Media Group (SMG), sent representatives to negotiate details of a proposed contract with Charmaine.

TVB executive, Virginia Lok is rumoured to have taken part in drawing up the 50 million RMB ($10 million) agreement for the 38-year-old actress.

Ms. Lok made sure the contract was tempting enough to draw Charmaine’s attention.

The contract will last for only 3 years, and Charmaine would also get an opportunity to work with Tony Leung.

Charmaine said, "Both Huayi Brothers and TVBC have offered great conditions but my main worry is the length of the contract. I’m getting old now, I don’t want to give myself so much pressure!”
