It seems that over 400 such tickets were issued.Said Jacee:"More than 246 complimentary ticket holders may be stranded outside Singapore Indoor Stadium on 1st May."All complimentary tickets were obtained through proper SISTIC channels over a 3-week span and confirmed valid by SISTIC before distribution. "Yesterday, I received an email from SISTIC informing me that all 246 ticket holders will be refused entry to Tsai Chin's concert on the coming Labour Day due to a SISTIC system error."In fact, I was told by one of the SISTIC employees yesterday that more than 400 complimentary tickets have been issued in total and all will be denied entry as well."It is totally unacceptable to penalise the ticket holders (mostly elderly folks) for SISTIC's blunder and oversight."The email from SISTIC to the STOMPer read:"Our records show that you have obtained 246 tickets to the Tsai Chin 'Wonderful Ocean Night' Concert on 1 May, under the ‘˜Giant Complimentary’ price category. "These seats were incorrectly programmed into our system and are invalid. As you would have noticed, there were no ticket prices assigned to these seats."All 246 tickets are invalid and ticket holders will be, denied entry into the concert venue."We apologise for causing any inconvenience."You may contact us at 6348 5555 for further queries.
