A transgender woman is leaving the America and heading towards the United Kingdom for her sex change operation.

According to nj, Giana Lopez, who has taken to female hormones for four year and underwent an operation to remove her testicles, the Daily Mail reports, but is unable to pay for the full surgery, that comes with a hefty price tag in the U.S. — upwards of $25,000.

So she's going to the UK where can qualify for the gender reassignment surgery after she has worked for 12 months under Britain's taxpayer-funded National Health Service.

She told the Daily Mail: "I know the good people of Britain won't mind funding my dream."

Lopez, a makeup artist, is currently applying for jobs in London, the report says.

To make the move, she would have to receive a two-year working visa or be employed by U.S. company that can transfer her to its British offices.

The makeup artist came out publicly as a transgendered woman in a post online in July of last year and has since posted a series of videos on her YouTube channel answering questions about her transgender transformation.
