Taylor Swift "loves" the UK.

The '22' hitmaker has seemingly confirmed rumours she is looking for a place in London since she will be based in England's capital city when she kicks off the European leg of her 'Red' tour in February next year and she is delighted to have a huge British fan base.

Taylor - who joined Prince William and Jon Bon Jovi on stage for a rendition of 'Livin' on a Prayer' at the Winter Whites Gala at Kensington Palace in London this week - is quoted by The Sun newspaper as saying: "Anywhere I spend a considerable amount of time, I think about maybe getting a place.

"But it would have to be the perfect place. I definitely love it over here, so I've always thought about what it would be like to be here more.

"I'm going to be here a lot starting with some shows in February at The O2 in London, then more and more.

"I love the fans, I love talking to the people, I really do love everything."

She was spotted house-hunting in north London earlier this month near her ex-boyfriend Harry Styles' home.

The One Direction hunk has a property in Primrose Hill and it is believed Taylor wants to find an apartment somewhere near Regent's Park.
