SINGAPORE - Local senior pastor Kong Hee and his pop singer-wife Ho Yeow Sun have drawn a barrage of criticism from the public of late. But they can still count on unwavering support from some of their high-profile celebrity pals, like Taiwanese pop rock band F.I.R., who are in town for the first stop of their latest concert tour Light Up The Way, reports The New Paper.Kong, 48, the founder of mega church City Harvest, and five ministry leaders made headlines last June when they were arrested and charged for siphoning off millions of dollars in church funds for personal use.All three members of F.I.R. are devout Christians and long-time friends of Kong and Ho. They were label mates with Ho when the latter distributed her Mandarin albums under F.I.R.'s record label, Warner Music, between 2002 and 2007.F.I.R. frontwoman Faye Chan, 31, told The New Paper during an interview on Thursday that they were "shocked" when they heard of the arrests. "We'll be praying for them and we hope everything works out fine for them," she said firmly.
